About Isabella
Isabella Reilly is a multiple award-winning multimedia journalist based in New York City. She has more than 10 years of experience studying and working in the journalism industry.
Isabella is a former alumni of both Bak Middle School of the Arts and Dreyfoos High School of the Arts in Palm Beach, FL, where she studied Communication Arts. In 2017, Isabella was nationally recognized by C-Span for her original, self-produced news package detailing the effects of climate change on her South Florida community.
She later attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was an early admit to the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media, which has consistently topped journalism school rankings across the country. At Carolina, Isabella published work in: The Raleigh News & Observer, The Durham-Herald, the Charlotte Post, The Local Reporter, Chapel Hill Magazine, Durham Magazine, Chatham Magazine, Heart of NC Weddings, Our State magazine, and The Daily Tar Heel. Isabella graduated from UNC in 2024 with highest distinction, majoring in journalism and creative writing. She also received honors for completing a 100+ page creative writing honors thesis in the Nonfiction category her senior year.
In 2025, Isabella received a Hearst Journalism Award in the Feature Writing category for her profile on up-and-coming young mental health advocate, Keegan Lee. That profile later attracted the attention of PEOPLE Magazine and led to Lee's feature in PEOPLE's 2024 Girls Changing the World.
Isabella moved to New York City in 2024 to pursue a master's degree in magazine journalism and digital storytelling from New York University. There, she studied race, religion, and enterprise reporting. While at NYU, Isabella published work in the Long Island Press and the HuffPost.
In 2026, Isabella received a New York Press Association Award in the feature story category for her work investigating a fire at a Long Island cat sanctuary. Her story went beyond other news outlets to tell the story of the owner's life and the legal controversy that followed the tragedy.
Now, Isabella works as a writer for Fox News Media, where she collaborates exclusively with local affiliate stations coast-to-coast. She was a part of the team that broke the news of the Iran War, and has produced original packages for FOX on topics ranging from the AI boom, Israel & Lebanon peace talks and more.
