About Isabella

Isabella Reilly is a journalist specializing in human interest coverage, particularly profiles and long-form magazine stories. She graduated with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina’s Hussman School of Journalism and Media in May 2024. Currently, she is a graduate student at New York University, studying Magazine Journalism and Digital Storytelling, with an expected graduation date of December 2025. She was awarded a Hearst Journalism Award in April 2025 for the Personality/Profile Writing Competition.

Isabella’s journalism career began at an early age, participating in her elementary school's morning announcements. She went on to attend the communications program at Bak Middle School of the Arts and Dreyfoos High School of the Arts, both ranked within the top 10 Florida schools by the U.S. News & World Report. 

Her work has been published in national outlets as well as in local publications across New York, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.
